"The 'mains gas available' tick box should only be ticked if there is a gas meter or gas burning appliance available within the property. A closed off gas pipe is not sufficient. Where a boiler is present and attached to a heating system (i.e. not awaiting installation), and the gas meter has been removed for security reasons, enter a gas boiler as the main form of heating and indicate that mains gas is present.
